Gov. Tom Wolf urged college students to get vaccinated against COVID-19 before summer break.
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Amid fresh signs of sagging statewide demand for the COVID-19 vaccine, Pennsylvania officials on Wednesday encouraged hundreds of thousands of college students to get their shots before they go home for summer.
Gov. Tom Wolf appeared in State College with the president and head football coach at Penn State University with a cameo by a freshman tight end to pitch younger people on the benefits of getting inoculated against the coronavirus.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. The Invent Penn State Venture & IP Conference, one of the largest tech startup conferences in the mid-Atlantic region, virtually hosted more than 500 attendees April 15-16.
Drawing more than 80 startups and more than 50 venture capital investors from across the country, the conference highlighted innovations from high growth and emerging markets to promote collaboration, investment and startup acceleration. The conference’s popular Venture Connection “speed-dating” platform hosted over 600 meetings between investment seeking startups and venture capital investors.
