Thiruvananthapuram, July 19 : A two-member committee will decide the fate of top CPI-M party leader and former State Minister G. Sudhakaran.
The party s state committee in a meeting held here last week commissioned top party veterans Elamaram Kareem, Rajya Sabha MP and his party colleague K.J. Thomas to see if there was any laxity on the part of Sudhakaran in leading the Assembly election campaign at his home turf in Alappuzha district.
The two are expected to take stock of this later in the week, when they will meet up with a cross section of their party leaders and workers.

In a big infrastructure and connectivity boost for Uttarakhand, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Thursday (8 April) said that the Centre has approved 28 highway projects worth Rs 1,210.17 crore for the state, reports
Economic Times.
The projects involve building of 231.04 kilometres of highways including strengthing work on several highways in the hill state.
Besides, the construction of a 900.3-metres-long tunnel in Rudraprayag, and a major bridge on Alaknanda river which would connect National Highway (NH)-107 to NH-7 have also been approved.
