We know a few things so far about the next Land Cruiser. We re expecting it to use the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 from the Lexus LS and maybe even wear a GR badge. Expect this engine to produce 420 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque and come mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It will also spawn a hybrid version, which could also mirror the sedan. We guarantee four-wheel drive and locking differentials for a ton of credibility in the dirt.
We ve reported that the gasoline Land Cruiser will come in three trim levels: the entry GX, mid-level AX, and top VX. The base GX trim will include three-row seating with manual seat adjustment, full LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, and an optional rear locking differential.
It will be incredibly off-road capable.
