Today the interregional student medical team “Mir” begins its work in the hospitals of the Republic of Karelia.
From July 15 to August 25, the summer working season will be held for fighters and candidates of medical units of Russia on the territory of the Republic of Karelia. Interregional student medical team “Mir” is a labor project, in which students of medical higher and secondary educational institutions who are members of the MOOO “Russian student teams” will take part.
Alexandra Yakovchuk, founder and head of the regional medical unit, commander of the Mir interregional student unit, said:
The “Mir” detachment also includes students of the Medical Institute of PetrSU. This year, the students-members of the detachment will have to work on the basis of three medical institutions: the Emergency Hospital and the Perinatal Center of Petrozavodsk and the Pryazha Central Regional Hospital.

Petrozavodsk State University and Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino (Republic of Uzbekistan) signed a number of agreements within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation.
A meeting with a delegation from the Bukhara State Medical Institute took place at PetrSU.

The second meeting-conference of students and teachers of PetrSU with the famous Japanese researcher, an expert in the field of digital linguistics K. Tokumaru, who made a report on anthropology on the topic “What is human being?” (“What is a man?”).
During an open mini-lecture, Kumono Tokumaru spoke about his research, the purpose of which is to explain the three-stage evolution of linguistic intelligence based on the hypothesis of the eusocial nature of phonemes and language as the main tool of communication in society. The lecture by a researcher from Japan was held in a pleasant creative atmosphere and was accompanied by lively discussion.
