PMThe prime minister has dominated the media not only in Pakistan but around the globe for some controversial remarks recently. The coverage provoked a widespread reaction from his critics, supporters, sympathisers and voters alike.
In largely equal proportion, praise and sharp rebuke surrounded a set of few assertions of the PM like women rape vs veil; no talks with India; absolutely no to America on basing; and blunting IMF among others.
But is he blustering? Is he doing everything that can secure him a political milestone, for example, winning elections of AJK? Or he seeks to affect serious policy outcomes? Here lies the answer.
32 MNAs did not participate in final voting

ISLAMABAD: It was simply an easy walkover for the government in the National Assembly on Tuesday because as many as 25 of 32 members from the opposition benches remained absent from the voting process. During the course of proceedings, it was witnessed that the government did not face any resistance from the united opposition political parties which did not challenge any move from the government on the current budget affairs. Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif did not attend the session. Khawaja Saad Rafique, Usman Ibrahim, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Nawab Talpur and many others also did not show up.
