At the very front lines of the pandemic, intensive care staffers at Brockville General Hospital have had a tough go, but community support has given this resilient team the extra boost they’ve needed.
“We have to thank the community. They showed us so much support, sending us good vibes and everyone has been very understanding of the pandemic including patients and families. It’s huge to have that sense of community both within the hospital and beyond the hospital walls,” said Nicole Valade, director of critical care.
