Roberts is set to take the lead role in the upcoming drama Now I See You, which will be helmed by The Notebook s director, Nick Cassavetes.
The forthcoming feature will serve as an adaptation of Nicole Kear s 2014 memoir of the same name, with a screenplay being written by Marc Klein.
The story follows a young Yale student who suddenly learns that she is losing her eyesight and attempts to mke the most of the time she has before she is not able to see anymore.
