Six Burglaries Related in Blue Earth, Nicollet Counties

Since the beginning of November, the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office investigated six burglaries and three motor vehicle thefts which were all believed to be related. Other area law enforcement agencies, including the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office, also experienced similar incidents including two burglaries.
On December 28th, 39-year-old Ryan Alan Jensen of Mankato led authorities on a vehicle pursuit in North Mankato driving a stolen vehicle from Blue Earth County. Ryan Jensen was arrested, and a follow-up investigation identified 33-year-old Jason Lee Martin of North Mankato as also involved in the recent burglaries.

ST. PETER, Minn. (KEYC) Health officials in Nicollet County announced they received the first shipment of the COVID-19 vaccine Tuesday.
Nicollet County officials add that they are currently working with community partners and the Minnesota Department of Health to begin vaccinating priority populations. The first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in Nicollet County will be administered to front line health care workers and adults in long-term care facilities. The next priority group includes individuals who are over the age of 75 and other essential workers.
