Vandals damage vintage bus parked on Pork Lane, Great Holland | Clacton and Frinton Gazette

A driver has been left devastated after their vintage bus was damaged by vandals. Essex Police have launched a police probe into the incident and have now released an appeal for information, urging any witnesses to come forward. It was reported that between 1 and 8 November last year, damage had been caused to the windscreen and a window of a vintage blue Leyland bus, which had been parked on Pork Lane in Great Holland. Community policing teams have since been working alongside colleagues at Tendring District Council to find those responsible for causing the damage. And the force say the attack has left the bus owner devastated, with the vehicle often being used for various charity events.

Cannabis farm found during raid on house in Clacton

MORE than 100 cannabis plants were discovered after police raided a house in Clacton. Tendring Community Policing Team executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address in Wellesley Road on Tuesday morning. Two men were arrested during the raid. PC Nikki Heath, community Safety and engagement officer for Clacton, said: Over 100 cannabis plants were found in the property. Both suspects were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs. Cannabis factories are linked to criminals who exploit vulnerable people for their own financial gain. These might be people who are exploited or forced to work for them to manage these cultivations, or to sell the drugs
