The city-based company completed the purchase of a prominent retail unit at 46 High Street. The entire 3,567 sq ft building is currently occupied by popular clothing brand Seasalt Cornwall. This lease runs until 2029. Gentian purchased the grade II listed property for £1.625m as part of its ongoing investment in the city’s retail offering. Commenting on the transaction, Nick Hanson, Director of Gentian Developments said: “We are making further investments into our city as we believe Winchester will continue to be a desirable shopping destination in the future. “As a local developer and investor we will ensure this historic building will remain an attractive focal point on the High Street.”
