It was a year like no other, but the top 10 baby names in NSW for 2020 didnât stray far from previous years.
In data published today by the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages, Oliver takes the top spot for boys for the seventh consecutive year, while Amelia surged from fourth to first, pipping Olivia and the frontrunner of the previous three years â Charlotte. The top three boysâ names have remained consistent since 2016, but Jack slid from fourth to seventh for the first time in five years.
Oliver and Amelia are the most popular names in NSW.
