Global robotic inspection firm Invert Robotics has chosen Dublin for its headquarters as the company gears up for rapid growth across European and North American markets.
Invert Robotics plans to set up an expanded research and development team in Ireland, creating 25 new jobs over the next three years.
Most of the new roles will be in data science to support the continued development of Invert Robotics machine learning and data analysis capabilities, and a small number of business development positions.

The Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar TD today (Thursday 14 January) announced the participation of Metamo Credit Unions and three non-bank lenders: Linked Finance, CapitalFlow and Finance Ireland, in the governmentâs â¬2 billion COVID-19 Credit Guarantee Scheme.
The Credit Guarantee Scheme is the biggest ever state-backed loan guarantee in Ireland. The Scheme offers an 80% Government guarantee to participating lenders to provide Irish businesses, including those in the farming and fishing sectors, with access to low interest loans as they respond to the impacts of COVID-19.

It is understood that the recruitment process for the ISIF role included both internal and external candidates. It is also understood that a selection process for the SBCI’s new chief executive will begin in the first quarter of next year.
Before becoming CEO of SBCI, Mr Ashmore was project director during the lender s establishment phase. Previous to that role, he was a senior member of the team managing the National Pension Reserve Fund (NPRF) from 2006, eventually becoming deputy director in 2011.
The NPRF provided the seed assets for the establishment of ISIF in 2014 after the government at the time decided to leverage the State rainy-day account towards more directed investments.
