Ipswich High School has announced a new deputy headteacher - after its current number two got a job as a principal at a school in Colchester.
Rebecca Rees will take over as deputy headteacher at the independent school, based at Woolverstone Hall, from Nicola Griffiths, who has been appointed as principal of St Mary’s Colchester.
Ms Rees trained as an art teacher in Australia before returning to the UK to be a head of department and head of year at an all-boys school in Hackney, London.

A paramedic has spoken of her fears over gang violence in North Staffordshire after being called to stabbings on a daily basis .
Nicola Griffiths - who regularly shares stories about the trials and tribulations of working as a medic on the frontline in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire - is urging teenagers to take extra precautions to avoid becoming a crime statistic.
Unfortunately, yesterday Jack, as he is known at the station to his close colleagues, passed away in a tragic incident. Nobody else was involved within the incident overall. It was an accident at this present moment in time. We are working with West Mercia Police to ensure that we can help them with the response to this incident. I would encourage anybody who did see the incident please come forward and contact West Mercia Police. Mr Hudson added that the service had received some unbelievable messages of condolence from across the country. Across the whole of the service everybody is mourning and also across the whole of the country really, he added.
