Whether you’re a BU grad or a proud Terrier parent, family member, or friend, there are many ways to get in the Commencement spirit virtually this year. And that’s never been more important than this year, when families and friends cannot be with graduating seniors on Nickerson Field for the big ceremonies.
For starters, how about sending a message of love and support that will run on the Jumbotron during Sunday’s big event? Here’s your chance. In keeping with recent BU Commencement tradition, Class of 2021 graduates, family members, and friends can once again share their memories and post photos, congratulations, and good wishes on social media via Tagboard. Using #BU2021, anyone with a public Instagram or Twitter account is able to submit content for consideration, starting on Thursday, May 13, and continuing until 2 pm on Commencement Sunday, May 16. T

Boston College will have a limited number of guests in attendance for commencement ceremonies scheduled for May 23 and 24, the university announced.boston college
Boston College students heading for graduation later this month will be allowed to invite at least one guest to the in-person ceremonies, the school announced this week, shifting away from its original plan that limited attendance to graduates.
Under the collegeâs new plan, approved Wednesday by the Boston Public Health Commission and Boston Licensing Board, undergraduates can invite two guests and graduate students may invite one guest, the school said in its announcement Thursday.
