Whether you’re a BU grad or a proud Terrier parent, family member, or friend, there are many ways to get in the Commencement spirit virtually this year. And that’s never been more important than this year, when families and friends cannot be with graduating seniors on Nickerson Field for the big ceremonies.
For starters, how about sending a message of love and support that will run on the Jumbotron during Sunday’s big event? Here’s your chance. In keeping with recent BU Commencement tradition, Class of 2021 graduates, family members, and friends can once again share their memories and post photos, congratulations, and good wishes on social media via Tagboard. Using #BU2021, anyone with a public Instagram or Twitter account is able to submit content for consideration, starting on Thursday, May 13, and continuing until 2 pm on Commencement Sunday, May 16. T

Winona State University is pleased to announce it will honor nearly 1200 spring graduates this Friday both virtually and in person.
Graduates, family, friends, and the Winona community are invited to watch the 6 p.m. Virtual Commencement Celebration during a live watch party to hear speeches by President Scott Olson and the Class of 2021 student speaker Michael Desch.
With music by the Winona State choir and band along with a commemorative video created for and by the Class of 2021 students, the live watch party will be streamed on WSU’s Facebook page, YouTube channel and commencement website.
