The Music City Grand Prix is partnering with the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Family Center at Middle Tennessee State University.
The announcement came during Saturday s Grand Ole Opry Salute the Troops show. The Grand Prix will donate funds to the veterans center from its Freedom Friday concert series, which will take place Aug. 6.
The Daniels Center at MTSU provides transition services for veterans and their families as they return to civilian life. The Music City GP joins the Nashville Predators and Nashville Sounds as other sports organizations around the city to support the MTSU veterans center.
