Hiker Rescued After Fall In Pisgah National Forest (Transylvania County, NC) A hiker is somehow escaping with only minor injuries after a big fall in the Pisgah National Forest. Transylvania County rescue crews rushed out last weekend to Slate Rock, where someone reportedly fell and tumbled around one-thousand-feet. It took six-hours to complete the rescue, as emergency workers helped the victim walk away from the site.
