George Conway appeared on the Skullduggery podcast on Monday to give his reaction to Trump s acquittal at the Senate impeachment trial
The hosts reminded that the last time Conway was on the podcast was in 2018 after he turned a job as head of the Justice Department s Civil Division
They noted that in that capacity, Conway potentially would have been asked to lead Trump s bid to overturn Joe Biden s victory in the Supreme Court
Conway insisted he would not have agreed to do so, saying: I would ve told him to go f k himself
DOJ Inspector General launches probe into whether senior officials tried to overturn election results after Trump plot to fire his acting AG and replace him with lawyer willing to declare fraud was revealed
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced Monday he opened an investigation into current and former officials at the agency
The probe will seek to find whether any DOJ official engaged in an improper attempt to have DOJ seek to alter the outcome of the 2020 Presidential Election.
The announcement comes after Horowitz receive pressure from leadership, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, to do so
It also comes after a report revealed Friday that Trump plotted to replace his attorney general with an ultra-loyalist during his final month in office
Chuck Schumer called for a probe into the report that Trump allegedly planned to fire his attorney general and replace him with someone who would work to overturn the presidential election results in Georgia.
