Norwood-Norfolk bus loop, parking expansion projects underway

Monday, May 3, 2021 - 5:50 pm The Norwood-Norfolk Central School parking lot is being replaced as part of the current capital project. Here, student parking is being expanded. NCNow photo. NORWOOD – Construction is now underway to improve bus safety and expand parking at Norwood-Norfolk Central School. When complete, buses will have a dedicated bus loop for student drop off and pick-up. “The largest portion of this project involves replacing our front parking lot. We ve had drainage issues for years, buckling pavement, and a congested bus drop-off/pick-up. Our new parking lot will address all these issues,” said Superintendent James Cruikshank. “A dedicated loop for the buses may take parking spaces away, so we are capturing additional space along the highway and expanding the student parking,” he said.
