ONLINE donations will once again be open during Christian Aid Week. The Haddington Christian Aid group raised nearly £7,000 last year and will again be looking to raise thousands of pounds for the good cause. John Weierter, from the group, was looking ahead to the annual collection. He said: “The total raised for Christian Aid in 2020 was £6,981 – £5,090 from Christian Aid Week plus £1,891 from other activities and small change boxes. “Thanks to our generous donors and willing volunteers who made it possible. “Christian Aid Week is May 10-16 and we have been making some plans, uncertain of the Covid regulations which will be in place.
