HIBBING, Minn. – According to the Northland FireWire, eight fire departments responded to a fire that broke out at an industrial building in Hibbing Sunday night.
The fire was reported around 8:15 p.m. in the 1900 black of 1st Avenue.
First crews at the scene reported seeing smoke and flames coming from the large building.
Crews from the Hibbing, Chisholm, Keewatin, Nashwauk, Silica, Cherry, Virginia, and Fayal Township fire departments were all dispatched to the fire.
There were no injuries reported.
The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire.
KEEWATIN â Three Iron Range fire departments battled a house fire in subzero temperatures in Keewatin on Monday.
The blaze was reported around 3 p.m. in the 300 block of West Howard Ave., according to a report from the Friends of the Northland FireWire. The two story house was engulfed in flames when the first firefighters arrived, it states in the report.
The Keewatin, Nashwauk, and Hibbing fire departments were dispatched. The Nashwauk Ambulance Service provided medical standby at the scene. No injuries were reported.

EVELETH â An Eveleth home was extensively damaged Friday after a large fire broke out in that attic, according to Friends of the Northland FireWireâs Facebook page.
The blaze was reported around 6 p.m. in the 800 block of Pierce Street and arriving fire crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof and attic area.
Firefighters started with an interior attack, but pulled out when the roof began to collapse around the chimney area, nlfirewire.com said. An extensive exterior attack was then instituted, with the squirt aerial from the Gilbert Fire Department utilized to work the roof area, along with hand lines on other areas of the exterior.
