A man from Norwich is due to appear in court later this month charged with murder.
Rakeem Leandre, 25, from Brewers Court in Norwich, has been charged with the murder of 33-year-old Christopher Allbury-Burridge.
A murder investigation was launched after Mr Allbury-Burridge was found dead at his home in Raeburn Road, Northampton, shortly after 2.10am on Friday, December 11.
Leandre was arrested in Norwich on December 18 as part of the investigation.
He appeared at Northampton Magistrates Court last year and was due to appear at Northampton Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on February 5.

Police told the court Flume had been in the downstairs bar of the hotel at about 10pm when he attacked the men, punching two in the face and grabbing the other around the neck whilst aiming racist comments at him.
One of the victims was left with a bloody nose after being punched.
Magistrates told Fiume, of Brawn Drive in Raunds, he must complete 120 hours of unpaid work as part of his punishment of a community order.
He was also ordered to pay compensation totaling £225 £100 to one victim, £75 to a second and £50 to the third.
Fiume must also pay prosecution costs of £620 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £90.

Awala Omar Abdillah, aged 27, of Deal Court, Northampton, failed to give information to Police; fined £660, victim services surcharge £66, costs £90, six penalty points.
Former special constable from Oakham quits over indecent images of children Published: 16:00, 14 January 2021
A former police special constable has resigned from the force after being found guilty of crimes involving indecent images of children.
Courtney Ravenscroft, of Primrose Close, Oakham, quit ahead of a fast-track gross misconduct hearing held last month by Northamptonshire Police.
The hearing, chaired by chief constable Nick Adderley, was brought after Ravenscroft, 24, was convicted at Northampton Magistrates Court last August.

Ravenscroft admitted two charges of making an indecent image of a child, one charge of category B, and a second relating to category C, and was sentenced on September 25.

A murder investigation was launched after Mr Allbury-Burridge was found dead at his home in Raeburn Road, Northampton, shortly after 2.10am on Friday, December 11.
Leandre was arrested in Norwich on Friday (December 18) as part of the investigation and appeared at Northampton Magistrates Court on Monday (December 21).
The defendant appeared at Northampton Crown Court later on Monday where he joined three others who have also been charged with murder, namely Jordan Parker, 24, from Walthamstow, Joel Cyrus, 25, from Leyton and Calum Farquhar, 23, from Leyton.
