A former police special constable has resigned from the force after being found guilty of crimes involving indecent images of children.
Courtney Ravenscroft, of Primrose Close, Oakham, quit ahead of a fast-track gross misconduct hearing held last month by Northamptonshire Police.
The hearing, chaired by chief constable Nick Adderley, was brought after Ravenscroft, 24, was convicted at Northampton Magistrates Court last August.

Ravenscroft admitted two charges of making an indecent image of a child, one charge of category B, and a second relating to category C, and was sentenced on September 25.
