NORWOOD – Two people were injured after being attacked by a man with a machete in Norwood, village police say.
On May 28 Norwood Village Police were called to the residence at 53 Park Street for a reported Domestic Incident involving a man with a machete.
Norwood Police responded to find that Gabriel A. Vasquez, aka Gabriel A. Vela-Vasquez, had attacked several people at that residence with a machete, injuring at least two of them, one of whom was seriously injured with a gash to his head. Mister Vasquez fled the scene prior to patrol s arrival. He was located some time later by New York State Troopers and taken into custody without incident.

NORFOLK Norfolk Town Police charged Ashli Bernard, no age or hometown listed, with violating an order of protection after investigating an alleged domestic incident.
Bernard was arraigned virtually by Judge Denner of Oswegatchie Town Court and released.
