(Mainichi/Kazuhisa Soneda) NAHA Three U.S. military members were arrested one after another on suspicion of trespassing and drunken driving in Japan s southernmost prefecture of Okinawa in the small hours of May 9, police said. According to Naha Police Station in Okinawa, police received an emergency call at around 1:50 a.m. on May 9, saying Several foreigners are changing car tires on a street in Naha. It may be an accident. An officer found the car in a nearby parking lot and asked two men what was going on, but they ran away. Police arrested them at about 3:15 a.m. on suspicion of trespassing on private property.

The deceased was discovered inside his apartment on the early hours of Tuesday 6th April 2021. The deceased is  said to from Guandong Province in China, and was employed by the Top Timber Company as the Grading and Consultation Supervisor. He resided at the Top Timber compound where the incident occurred.

(Mainichi/Takayasu Endo) NAHA A U.S. Marine stationed in the southernmost Japan prefecture of Okinawa was slapped with fresh charges on Feb. 11 for allegedly committing indecent acts on a Japanese woman at a parking lot in this prefectural capital. Private First Class Marvin Earl James Jr., aged 24 and assigned to Camp Courtney in the city of Uruma, was accused by Okinawa Prefectural Police s Naha Police Station of the forced indecent acts. Police reported that he has denied the accusations, saying he didn t do it.
