Club Sando FC head coach and former Soca Warriors stand-out Angus Eve has accused Trinidad and Tobago Men’s National Senior Team head coach Terry Fenwick of misleading local football fans on several issues not least regarding the Warriors’ supposed 5-0 win over Sando, earlier this month.

In Tuesday’s meeting, Superintendent Dr. Marlon King announced a new initiative named “Community Unity” that will be implemented in 2021.
It will progress Cyber School to let kids move at their own pace, and add a socialization piece. Committee members believe this will be a great opportunity for home-schooled kids to join the school district.
The Education Vision meeting also discussed expansion for the “Options and Opportunities” program.
One of the school system’s principals, Dr. Nathan Lewis says the students who are apart of the program are gaining invaluable experience.
“There’s a few other places that have hired students, and again this has only been right at two years with this program going, and these are our students still working at these locations after they have done these internships,” Lewis said.
Nearly all of us will remember 2020 as a year like no other. For many of us, it was our first year wearing a mask in public places, practicing social distancing, and carrying around copious amounts of hand sanitizer. The Northwest Area community was faced with many changes and adjustments to the status quo. For Mrs. Shani Boberick, one of our school guidance counselors, the greatest challenge of the pandemic has been connection.
âMy job is to connect with students and families and it has been difficult to do that effectively during this situation. I am always looking for ways to advocate for students, to connect students to each other, to teachers, and to services.â The pandemic has also affected her on a personal level. âPersonally, I am missing my parents and extended family. The holidays were especially difficult as we are used to gathering together to celebrate, and this year that was not possible.â
