A major route into Nottingham city centre is currently blocked by emergency services due to a collision involving a woman and a car.
Motorists are being advised the inbound lanes of Mansfield Road are currently closed and the incident is also affecting one of the outbound lanes.
Nottingham Travelwise, which tracks traffic issues in the city, says people should allow extra time for their journeys this morning.
A spokesperson said in a Tweet: Mansfield Road inbound currently blocked by emergency services.

A car crash has blocked a busy roundabout in Nottingham city centre.
Emergency services were called to the A6008 at London Road this morning which is partially blocked due to an accident at Pemberton Street.
A tweet from Nottingham Travelwise said two lanes on the roundabout are currently blocked.
It said: RTC on BBC Island (London Road - Lower Parliament St southbound). Lane 3 of 4 and 4 of 4 (right turn onto Canal St) are currently blocked. Emergency services on scene. Please allow extra time for your journey.

Lanes have reopened after a crash on the A52 Clifton Boulevard.
A vehicle involved has also been recovered following the incident on the southbound carriageway at 2pm on Friday (February 5).
The carriageway was blocked and the emergency services were called out.
But in an update, Nottingham Travelwise, the city council s traffic monitoring Twitter account, Tweeted: Vehicle involved left the scene. Emergency services leaving the scene. Both available lanes reopened. Thank for your patience!
