Major delays after lorry sheds its load at busy roundabout in Edwalton

Traffic is building on a road near an Aldi supermarket in Nottinghamshire after a lorry shed its load.
Pictures show Nottinghamshire Police at the scene in Flaworth Lane, Edwalton, at around 1pm on Tuesday, April 6.
Two police cars are at the scene.
Heavy traffic has been reported and Google s traffic monitoring service shows delays are building on Wheatcroft Island.
Delays can also be seen on the A52 and Melton Road due to the incident.
A police spokesman said: Nottinghamshire Police were called at around 11.15am on Tuesday (6 April 2021) following a report of a lorry losing its load and concrete blocks were in the road.
