Nearly 100 West Genesee High School staged a protest outside the school today, Friday April 23, after social media posts surfaced with West Genesee students acting out the George Flloyd Challenge.

CAMILLUS, NY Nearly 100 West Genesee High School students staged a brief walkout this morning to send the message that racism won’t be tolerated at the school.
Students protested social media posts that depict West Genesee students acting out what’s called the “George Floyd challenge.” The posts included a photo in which a West Genesee student can be seen kneeling on another student’s neck invoking George Floyd’s murder, said Superintendent David Bills.
