BENGALURU: Cloudphysician, a startup has helped manage more than 2,700 critically ill patients with around 30,000 interventions over more than 17,000 patient bed days. The firm has been working across many districts and has even set up a unit in Leh.
From its command centre in Hebbal in Bengaluru, the firm said it serves government and private hospital ICUs 24/7 in districts across the country such as Mysuru, Bengaluru, Muzaffarpur, Motihari, Hosur, Kolkata, Trichy, Vijayawada, Nadiad, Hubli, Chhapra, Siwan, Varanasi, Kozhikode, Leh, Mumbai, Panipat, Cuttack to name a few.
The firm, while pointing out that quality healthcare delivery has always been a challenge in small and medium-sized hospitals due to a lack of trained expertise in ICUs, said Covid has only worsened this shortcoming and the country is seeing critically ill patients lose lives due to this shortage of specialist doctors.
