KCR Likely To Shower Sops On This Village Aug 04, 2021, 11:09 IST Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is going to visit Vasalamarri village today. The village was adopted by CM KCR in October 2020. It is expected to announce some sops by Telangana CM KCR today. KCR during his last visit said that he is ready to sanction money for the development of the village. On June 22nd, KCR took part in a community lunch with all the 2,600 residents of the village. Telangana government has already decided to spend Rs. 100 crore for the development of the village, which is around 25 km away from Erravalli.

He told counsel of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments, We can help with that. Otherwise, I will transfer this to another bench . The top court had then listed the matter for further hearing on Wednesday.

Andhra Pradesh refuses mediation for settling Krishna water sharing dispute with Telangana ANI | Updated: Aug 04, 2021 14:03 IST New Delhi [India], August 4 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Government on Wednesday told the Supreme Court that the Krishna river water sharing dispute involving the legal fight between the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana required adjudication and refused mediation, as suggested by the SC earlier. After the Supreme Court was apprised by the Andhra Pradesh state government lawyer, G Umapathy, that the Krishna river water dispute sharing matter involving AP and Telangana, will require legal adjudication, as mediation didn t work, a two-judge bench of the Apex Court, led by the Chief Justice of India (CJI) Nuthalapati Venkata Ramana, said, we will list the case before another bench.
