In line with the vision of the government for ease of doing business, the National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) has decided to promote and encourage the local industry, manufacturers and contractors in the power sector.
During a virtual meeting with all stakeholders, NTDC Board of Directors Chairman Naveed Ismail said that as per the vision of the government the company aimed to encourage the local industry, manufacturers, contractors, consultants, suppliers of transformers, cables, conductors, towers and other accessories.

Islamabad [Pakistan], February 11 (ANI): In a shock to Pakistan, Chinese company Pak Matiari- Lahore Transmission Company (PMLTC), which completed the Matiari-Lahore HVDC Transmission Project with the investment of USD 2.2 billion in two years time, has threatened to take the government-owned company National Transmission Dispatch Company (NTDC) to the international arbitration court.
According to a report by The News International, the Chinese company PMLTC, which completed +-660kV Matiari-Lahore HVDC Transmission Project with the investment of USD 2.2 billion in two years time, has threatened to move the international arbitration court against the NTDC for creating hurdles in the commissioning of the project.
