This 2006 Infiniti G35 Makes V8 Noises That May Confuse G-Series Enthusiasts 10 May 2021, 15:15 UTC ·

By adopting rear-wheel drive for the V35 generation, the G-Series line became a commercial hit across North America for its performance credentials, sporty looks, and premium appointments. G35 owners, however, are currently split into two categories: those who modify the VQ35DE V6 engine until the rod bearings give up the ghost and those who rice things up with lowering kit and a comically huge rear wing. 12 photos
An honorable mention also goes to people who believe that stickers look cool. These being said, the G35 attracts these individuals because it can be picked up for less than a Fox-body Mustang with a working V8 powerplant.

They say that when life gives you lemons one should make lemonade. But what happens when a virtual artist gives you just one, and it’s car-sized and all CGI? Do you carry on undaunted or muse about the way the Blue Oval’s third generation Fox Body Mustang triggered all sorts of love and hate stories throughout the decades? 7 photos
Well, they say that in order to transcend such
petty battles you need to properly stand out in the crowd. Or at least that’s my personal opinion. That’s because I’ve seen a lot of fans of the Fox Body series, as well as the detractors. So, just to make sure, it’s probably best to go all out on such a car.

We all know that old saying “
it ain’t over till the fat lady sings” and its applications do range extremely wide (no pun intended this time), including when it comes to ETs and trap speeds, apparently. As such, here’s a trio of interesting encounters that coincidentally took place during the same event, Bristol Dragway’s recent “
Street Car Takeover.” 12 photos
The drag strip bonanza took place over the past weekend (April 30th - May 1st) in Bristol, Tennessee, where the Bristol Dragway quarter mile aficionados became witness to a few odd occurrences. Courtesy of the latest video (embedded below) from the

Tucked in between the odd little Fox Body Mustang and the S197 revival of vintage allure, the New Edge iteration of the timeless pony car might not be everyone’s darling. But, somehow, it still manages to grab one’s attention as long as there’s proper Saleen interference. 35 photos
For example, one could always choose the 2004MY swan song of the fourth generation series to make the most out of the New Edge styling and keep things as modern as possible. And when upgrading to the Saleen nameplate, there’s also the added value of standing out in the SN95 crowd.

The first-generation Ford Mustang was one diverse pony. It was redesigned three times in only nine years, and it grew larger and heavier toward the end of its life-cycle. Ford also offered increasingly bigger engines, ranging from the lazy 2.8-liter Thriftpower inline-six to the mad 7.0-liter Super Cobra Jet V8. Something for everyone, right? Well, not if you want a Tangerine-painted model, but this is where this restored 1968 Fastback comes in. 13 photos
The Mustang you see here started life as a Wimbledon White fastback in the late 1960s. It retained its original color for a few decades, but it went into a long restoration process sometime in the early 1990s. In 2013, the current owner decided that white isn t vivid enough and repainted the car orange.
