HELL S KITCHEN, NY A disease research institute based in Hell s Kitchen received a multimillion-dollar grant from the city last week to expand its labs, officials announced.
The New York Stem Cell Foundation will use the $6.5 million grant to enlarge its West 54th Street institute, enabling more research into drugs and treatments and new collaborations with universities and other companies, the institute said.

HELL S KITCHEN, NY A developer filed permits with the city on Friday to build a new 47-story tower at the site of the Covenant House shelter on 10th Avenue.
The plans call for a 520-foot building at 550 10th Ave., between 40th and 41st streets.
The mixed-use tower will have more than 450 dwelling units, 27,000 square feet of commercial space and 57,000 square feet for a community facility, according to the permits.

In the third episode of âHellâs Kitchenâ Season 19, the challenge to the first team that prepared 10 Caesar salads was accepted and won the round. Also, because the Red team had two extra people, two pairs were created: Kori and Amber, and Lauren and Brittani. The red team won the challenge 10-8.
The women, who finally got their long-awaited win, were rewarded with a dune buggy experience in the Nevada desert, while the men were punished by prepping and peeling Scotch quail eggs for Ramsay s Caesar salad dish for that nights service.
Unfortunately, after the women returned, Fabiola suffered a panic attack and had to receive medical attention, and not being able to join her team until moments before service began.
As a presidential candidate with an outside chance at the 2020 Democratic nomination, becoming a media darling seemed to be Andrew Yang’s primary electoral strategy. He gleefully gnawed on a turkey leg at the Iowa State Fair, pounded milkshakes, and anointed members of the “Yang Gang” with whipped cream. While he didn’t pick up the nomination or a Cabinet seat, like fellow candidate and conspicuous consumer Pete Buttigieg it worked in a sense: Undecided voters wanted to have a beer with Yang more than any other candidate, and his main policy proposal, a $1,000-a-month universal basic income, has vastly outshone his candidacy.
