Niagara Falls Man Bludgeoned to Death with Brick, Bat, ID d as Wayne Jackson II

By: Staff Reporter The Niagara Reporter has confirmed that the individual who was brutally beaten to death on Friday, April 2nd, 2021, was Wayne Jackson II, of Niagara Falls. The Reporter has further learned that Jackson was bludgeoned with a brick, bat, and a 2×4. Niagara Falls Police Department responded to a call at 0252 hours at 615 Tronolone Place about an unknown disturbance. Patrol officers entered a 3rd-floor apartment finding a deceased male, who appeared to have been bludgeoned to death. 33-year-old Nicholas John Bartek was also in the apartment at the time of the Police Departments’ arrival. Bartek was arrested for Second Degree Murder. He was arraigned in Niagara Falls City Court on Friday, April 2nd, 2021.

Mazur, has announced his candidacy for Niagara Falls City Court Judge for 2021.  Mr. Mazur is seeking the seat currently held by Judge Mark Anthony Violante, who will be reaching the mandatory retirement age of 70 next year. “My professional and life experience has prepared me to take the next step in my legal career as I am ready to follow in the footsteps of past and current City Court judges who are alumni of the Corporation Counsel’s office.”
