LUMBERTON UNC Health Southeastern is hosting vaccination events in Robeson County this week for anyone who is eligible, officials said.
Essential workers, healthcare professionals, emergency personnel, and persons who are 65 years old and older are encouraged to get the vaccine. The first event kicks off Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Robeson County Fairgrounds, which is at 3570 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Lumberton.
Participants may schedule appointments for first-dose COVID vaccines on the hospital s website, www.srmc.org, by clicking on Get Vaccinated on the home page. Walk-ins can get shots as long as daily allocation supplies last, hospital officials said.

ST. PAULS UNC Health Southeastern is hosting a COVID-19 vaccination event at the Faith Tabernacle Christian Center in St. Pauls today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the health system.
The event is located in the church s multipurpose building located at 3744 NC-20, St. Paul s, NC for healthcare workers and individuals 65 and older, according to a news release.
Participants are asked to bring their insurance card, a state-issued ID card, and to wear short-sleeved shirts to expedite the vaccination process. They are also encouraged to wear masks and to practice social distancing while waiting for their shot, according to the release.

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WMBF) – A COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held Thursday in the town of St. Pauls, officials said.
UNC Health Southeastern has partnered with Faith Tabernacle Christian Center for the event, which will be held in the church’s multi-purpose building, according to a press release.
“We are expanding our outreach to communities in our region to make the vaccine more accessible for everyone who is eligible, including those communities that may have vaccine hesitancy among its residents,” said Jason Cox, UNC Health Southeastern vice president and COO.
