Your natural lashes can be dense, sparse, naturally curled or short. So the mascara you need to choose depends on the effect you wish to create. “Mascaras are normally used to thicken, lengthen, colour, curl and provide volume to eyelashes. Different mascaras also include water-resistant, waterproof and volumising formulas,” says Soni.
