Careless driver Rebecca Beswick avoids prison | East Anglian Daily Times

Rebecca Beswick was given a suspended sentence - Credit: Archant A motorist whose momentary period of careless driving” caused the death of two people in a head-on crash has avoided prison.  Rebecca Beswick was driving a blue Mini Cooper on the A134 at Alpheton, between Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds, on August 31, 2018, when she veered into the path of a gold BMW 325i.  The driver of the BMW, 69-year-old Bruno Delmonte, from Great Henny, near Sudbury, was airlifted to Addenbrooke s Hospital in Cambridge, but died the following day from his injuries. Mr Delmonte s front seat passenger, Regina Brook, known as Gina, 79, from Bures Hamlet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
