Ambitious Lilongwe-based businesswoman, Gladys Masina, owner and proprietor of the recently launched Glalle Complex has assured both aspiring and established businesspersons to work hard in their endeavours if they are to hit it big in life.
Masina made the urge on Saturday during the launch of the complex located in Area 49 opposite the Bingu National Stadium that has 42 shops, 8 offices, a hall, executive conference room, bar and restaurant, among others.
In her remarks she said much as the complex had just been an imagination as far as putting resources together was concerned, she said she had made it possible by the grace of God.

Musicians who obtained an injunction against the government’s 14-day imposition of new Covid-19 restrictions have agreed to vacate the order.
Lulu, Dan Lu and Skeffa Vacate injunction
The musicians lawyer Innocent Kubwalo has confirmed the development.
Kubwalo said the government has met most of the musicians demands therefore there was no need to continue with the court injunction.
The musicians were against the idea of restricting the meeting of people to 100 as a Covid-19 preventive measure.
On December 23, some local musicians: Skeffa Chimoto, Dan Lu, Kell Kay, Lulu and the Great Angels Choir obtained an injunction against the implementation of the new restrictions.

As a way of celebrating the dawn of 2021, Lilongwe-based gospel outfit, Great Angels Choir has organized a music concert dubbed ‘Happy New Year Celebration’ that will bring together the variety of artists including Anthony Makondetsa and Lulu.

Scheduled to take place at Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe on Friday, 1st January 2021 some of the artist on the menu to perform are Limbani Simenti, Wycliff Chimwendo, Miracle Chinga and Thoko Katimba among others.

After spending a period of six solid years without releasing an album, the country’s local leading gospel music group Great Angels Choir has finally released the latest fifth 10 track album titled
‘Ufumu Umodzi Suukilani’.

The People’s Choir who released the last album in 2014 called ‘Mwasankha Ine’ that came after dropping ‘Mundifungatile’ in 2005 before coming up with
‘Gwireni Dzanja’ and
‘Ndiyende Bwanji’ in 2007 and 2010 respectively, told
Nyasa Timesthat the new album whose project was commenced early 2018 was expected to be out in 2019 but failed to make it due to a number of factors which the major one was due to the passing on of their long time music producer late Joseph Tembo who died in December last year.
