FDNY puts out Great Kills fire; no injuries reported Updated 8:21 PM; STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Firefighters responded to a fire at a set of Great Kills townhouses Thursday night. The fire prompted an “all-hands” FDNY response of 12 units and 60 firefighters at approximately 5:35 p.m., according to an official from the FDNY’s press office. The fire was brought under control in the three-story townhouses at around 6:04 p.m., according to the FDNY. No injuries were reported. The Original Goodfella’s will be vacating its Dongan Hills brick-and-mortar location for what is slated to be a South Shore opening, the Advance learned Monday. According to the owner, Scot Cosentino, The Original Goodfella’s is slated to move to the Great Kills area of Staten Island “in the coming weeks.” The exact location is not confirmed, but Cosentino claims an announcement will be made when details are solidified.

The boats are located between the marina, now called Moonbeam Great Kills Marina, and the ramp to the docks.
