DISCUSS scam risks with your family over the Winter holidays Cumbria Trading Standards have said. This comes following their work highlighting the issues of scams over the whole of December in collaboration with Friends Against Scams. On their Facebook page, Cumbria Trading Standards said: Use this Winter break to have a talk with your family about scam mail. Criminals will use any opportunity to steal money, even your post box! If you think a letter that s been received could be a scam, send it to Friends Against Scams. The Friends Against Scams Team are encouraging everyone in the UK to send in any unwanted scam and nuisance mail that they receive into the National Trading Standards (NTS) Scams Team completely free of charge.
