Student Financial Services
Student Financial Services ensures that students are able to afford their education by working with them on a number of factors unique to every student s journey. This service works to inform students about financial aid or scholarship options available to assist incoming or current students as they plan to afford their student account balance. To do this, they send students and their families informative communications, to proactively educate on key financial aid concepts and deadlines, provide informative student account statements, and reminders about overdue balances, and options for payment.

Campus Security
Campus Security provides round-the-clock protection and service to the Briar Cliff community. A security officer is available 24/7 via the on-call phone number, 712-898-1888. BCU Security s main concern is the physical safety of our students, faculty, and staff. The department also ensures the safety of university property, which includes locking and securing buildings, reporting suspicious activity to law enforcement, enforcement of parking regulations, and reporting any emergencies to local authorities. Security staff may detain individuals for questioning.
Reporting crimes, suspicious activities, and other emergencies on or around campus should be immediately reported to Campus Security or the Sioux City Police Department.
