Report: Gina Carano getting Emmy push from Disney, despite public firing Share this story Photo by Rodin Eckenroth/WireImage Lucasfilm, which is owned by Disney, sensationally canned MMA pioneer Gina Carano from the popular Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian in February. The reason given for her very public firing was her social media posts, which Lusasfilm described as “abhorrent and unacceptable.” During the COVID-19 pandemic Carano’s social media presence grew increasingly controversial, with the fighter turned actor advocating against the use of masks and vaccines to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus. Ride the lightining in Porsche s all-electric Taycan Turbo S

Ride the lightning in Porsche’s all-electric Taycan Turbo S Capable of going from 0-100 in 2.488 seconds, the newest all-electric car on the market beats petrol-powered models at their own game. Freefalling: the acceleration on the Porsche Taycan Turbo S allows you to pick up speed faster than if you jumped out of a plane.  Save Share I know exactly how fast the Porsche Taycan Turbo S is. But Uib has chosen and interesting path with its next project; the new Werewolves Within film may very will be the first feature based on a VR game. I know that I certainly can t think of any others. And with its fun horror/comedy tone, Werewolves may be the first film based on an Ubisoft property to fully cross over to general audiences. Heck, most people probably won t even realize that it s based on a game.

Buried in the announcement is that there’ll be an untitled Star Trek film set to hit theaters on June 9th, 2023. We’ve been expecting a new Star Trek film for a couple of years, but according to io9, this is a completely new project. For the last couple of years, we’ve watched the studio struggle to get another Star Trek film out into theaters, all while it’s dumped a ton of resources into its television franchise on Paramount + (which includes
