(Riverton, WY) – Fremont County School District #25 had itâs board meeting Tuesday, May 11th. Among the highlights were an approval for a mask variance request, a Frontier Academy graduation, an Ag Experience presentation, and bid award discussions.
Superintendent Joanne Flanagan announced FCSD #25 has officially been approved by the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH). As of Thursday, May 13th, masks will be optional. Federal transportation laws in place for masks still apply on busses.

There is no variance for isolation or quarantine orders, and the only exception is if someone is completely vaccinated. Remote education will still be offered for any student with underlying conditions and those to choose to do so.

As the first large-scale tradeshow the Nevada Department of Business and Industry approved to return to exhibit halls this June, World of Concrete 2021 will no doubt be an event for the history books. So far, the list online includes 551 exhibitors everything from batch plant manufacturers to handheld tools, from surface prep equipment to pump trucks are all planned to be part of the show.

Tuesday meeting
KEY ACTION: Approved an agreement with Foreverlawn NEO for the purchase and installation of synthetic playground turf at the Central Park playground.
DISCUSSION: Councilman At-Large and environment and parks committee chairman, Richard Brandenburg, said the city had budgeted $90,000 in its 2021 capital improvement budget for this project. “We are appropriating $71,501,” Brandenburg said prior to council approval of the agreement. “Some of the difference is work the city will do to prepare the site. And this is to make a safer, more accessible play area in Central Park.”
OTHER ACTIONS:
Approved a $27,900 contract with B&B Sealing, the lowest of five bids received, for the city’s 2021 Parks Pavement Maintenance program, including parking lot paving and sealing at Central Park.
NHAI To Deploy Network Survey Vehicles To Track The Condition Of National Highways

The NSV will use the latest survey techniques to assess distresses on the road surface and help in enhancing the quality of the highways.
In an effort to provide better roads to commuters, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has decided to deploy network survey vehicle (NSV) to supervise and help maintain the quality of National Highways.
Carrying out a road condition survey using NSV on the National Highways has been made mandatory at the time of certifying completion of the project and every six months thereafter. The provision has also been included as a part of the standard bidding document of consultancy services.
