A vigorous upper level storm system is approaching the Four State Region this morning, and it will gradually shift farther east into our area before lifting out later on Thursday night.
Heavy rain will begin to impact the northwest half of the region, including the Middle Red River Valley of Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas late in the day today through tonight with that heavy rain threat to include the remainder of the Four State Region Thursday into Thursday Evening. A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for the northwest half of our region.
