Subscriber only Four offenders remain on the run after a man was stabbed in the chest and buttocks during an alleged home invasion involving a machete on the Sunshine Coast. Police were called to Buderim at 6.40pm on Thursday night after a man was allegedly assaulted in his home. It s understood a 29-year-old man was at his home in Booral Street when four armed offenders entered. Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Chris Eaton said the victim was allegedly attacked by the four offenders. He was subsequently stabbed in the right side of chest, forehead, received slash wounds to his face and a large stab wound to the buttocks, he said.
