Watch: Flavour Releases Visual For ‘Good Woman’
Award-winning entertainer, Flavour N’abania, has dropped the visuals for the second track off his studio album, Flavour of Africa.
The song titled ‘Good Woman’ is a tribute to women across the globe with a beautiful fusion of afro-pop, highlife, and alternative sound.
Flavour pays respect to valiant women such as Onyeka Owenu, Ngozi Okonji-Iweala, Oby Ezekwesili, Funmi Iyanda, Ibukun Awosika, Feyikemi Abudu, Odunayo Eweniyi, Joke Silva including his mother, Felicia Okoli.
Directed by Dammy Twitch the music video captures the strength, elegance, and resilience of women while it tells a story of how women thrive despite the challenges they are faced.
With her debut Nollywood film, Namaste Wahala, director and producer of the film, Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, touched upon the similarity between Indian and African culture. It also showed why, in a progressive society, any form of discrimination based on the colour of skin and race should be redundant for positive change.

Days after the demise of veteran actor, Sadiq Daba, tributes have continued to pour in for him from all corners of the movie industry.
Daba died on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, after a long battle with leukemia and prostate cancer. He was buried the next day according to Islamic rites at the Agege area of Lagos State.

Recently, MultiChoice Nigeria announced that it will launch an M-Net Movies pop-up channel dedicated to women as they celebrate International Women’s Day coming up on Monday, March 8. Themed ‘Pretty Deadly’, the pop-up channel parades a list of Hollywood female actors like Angelina Jolie, Melissa McCarthy, Brie Larson, and a host of others and will run for more than a fortnight. For a moment, I hoped and prayed that I would see a Nollywood movie in that long list but there was none. Perhaps, my wish was too tall, I scanned through again to see if there was an African movie on the list. Yet, my sore eyes couldn’t find any. The list only paraded Hollywood female stars, whose roles swing from sheroes to con artists.
