Some Nigerian actors on Thursday mourned the late actor and broadcaster, Sadiq Daba, who died Wednesday, March 3, during a protracted illness.
The actors took to their Instagram pages to pay tributes to the late thespian who had contributed meaningfully to the growth of the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Actor Saheed Balogun said: “Goodnight Uncle Sadiq Daba. May your soul rest in perfect peace”.
Also, movie producer, Kunle Afolayan, wrote, “You will be missed, Uncle S. You made your mark”.
Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Offiong Anthony, popularly known as “Thintalltony” said, “Sad evening for me. Rest in peace Uncle S.”

Nigerian personalities like the former Vice-President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, Shehu Sani, veteran actress, Joke Silva, among many others, have taken to their social media accounts to mourn veteran actor, Sadiq Daba.
The actor died on Wednesday at about 8: 30 pm. According to his close friend, Joe Odumakin, the actor had been ill for a while before his demise.
Former Vice-President Atiku thanked the late actor for the joy he brought into homes.
“Sad that the cock will no longer crow at dawn. Sadiq Daba, thank you for the joy you brought into our homes. May your sins be forgiven, and your memories be a blessing,” he wrote.

The Njokus, owner of the cable television station, IrokoTv, have received backlash from Twitter users after Jason Njoku stated that N4.6m school fee is cheap in Nigeria.
A few days ago, Jason took to his social media to reveal that school fees of N4.6m is cheap and that he pays more for his three-year-old after a Twitter user shared the provisional bill for a school in Epe, Lagos State, with school fees of N4,643, 901.
He tweeted, “Most Nigerians don’t realise but most things in Nigeria are actually super cheap by African (forget global standards).
According to the Director of the new movie ‘Namaste Wahala’ “I am very excited about Namaste Wahala going to the whole world through Netflix. The movie showcases the beauty of Nigeria and the wealth in Nollywood”.

Their romantic fraternity faced serious objection from both corners of their parents because of cultural variations, but in the end had a good Indian-Nigerian wedding.
