Data of the department showed that in the first three months of 2021, Vietnam imported 16,550 tons of pork worth US$44.85 million from Russia, soaring 1,116% in volume and 1,002% in value compared with the same period last year. In total, the country imported 169,290 tons of meat of all kinds worth US$337.18 million in the first quarter, rising 0.5% in volume and 22.4% in value year-on-year.

Two more imported trains of the Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro line in Ho Chi Minh City arrive on May 10. According to the Management Authority for Urban Railways (MAUR) of HCM City which is the metro project s investor, the trains left Japan s Kasado Port on May 1 and arrived at Khanh Hoi Port on the morning of May 10. They will be transported to the route’s Long Binh Depot on May 11.

Photo: Quang Dinh / Tuoi Tre The B1 basement of the Ba Son metro station belonging to the first metro line project, Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien, in Ho Chi Minh City has been completed 31 days ahead of schedule, according to the municipal Management Authority for Urban Railways. Construction of the basement was initially planned for completion in June this year. This is one of the two floors of the Ba Son station, which is built underground at a depth of about 20 meters, covering an area of 240 meters long and 34.5 meters wide.
