Annette Bening, Ted Danson, Hill Harper and more host starry virtual benefit for Urban Tech

Ted Danson, Hill Harper and Oscar-nominated actress Annette Bening were just some of the A-List names that supported The National Urban Technology Center (Urban Tech) for a virtual fundraiser on Thursday evening.  The live broadcast also featured special appearances by Edward Norton, Vanessa Williams, Jason Mraz, Cynthia Nixon and Romeo Miller, who all appeared via Zoom.  Harper, 54, - known for his roles on CSI: NY, Limitless, and The Good Doctor - looked dapper for the evening of fundraising, while Bening, 62, and Danson, 73, appeared in more casual attire as they beamed in from their homes.  For a good cause: Ted Danson, Hill Harper, Annette Bening and more hosted a starry virtual benefit to help raise funds for Urban Tech on Thursday

Urban Tech’s 25th Anniversary Virtual Benefit April 8 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm Free The National Urban Technology Center will host its 25th anniversary with a virtual celebration on Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm. The charitable event is hosted by award-winning actors Annette Bening, Hill Harper, and Ted Danson. The evening will feature a virtual reception followed by an inspiring program, online auction, and special tributes to the 2021 honorees, Bruce Mosler (“Corporate Leadership Honoree”), Kathy Bransford Zukerman (“Jubilee Honoree”), and Ray and Vivan Scott Chew (Distinguished Services Honorees”). Musical entertainment will be provided by the Christian Cultural Center (CCC) and Pink Martini. Funds raised through the virtual benefit will make it possible for Urban Tech to provide disadvantaged families with the training and technological tools to improve their children’s academic success during the pandemic. WE Hub propels the startup vision of aspiring women entrepreneurs to the next level It is a busy day at the WE Hub (Women Entrepreneurs Hub) office in the premises of Dr BR Ambedkar Open University in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Serving as Telangana’s incubator for women entrepreneurs, WE Hub has a co-working space, a play area for children and a nursing room for mothers. The lounge of the 12,000-square feet office offers a beautiful view of the Durgam Cheruvu Cable bridge.
